John 3:16 [ESV] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 [Message] “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
John 3:16 [Spanish Bible] Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que dio a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que cree en El, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna

I don’t do Spanish, or any other language besides English; which I probably don’t do all that well.
I’m not sure why I even looked at the verse in Spanish, I guess to see with the words looked familiar.
What I am sure of is that when I glanced at the Spanish, the word; “Porque” stood out:
My limited, very limited understand of Spanish would render this word “Porque” to mean: WHY.
And when I read this very similar Bible verse that is the question on my mind. WHY, would God do it, WHY that way, giving up His son. WHY?

Why not, give what’s most valuable?
Why not, give what’s most precious?
Why not, give what’s most loved?
Why not, give the light of your life, that others might, [catch that, might] share in the light!

Your ways are not our ways, and your thoughts and not our thoughts
May your love,
