DAY 20!!!!!! Can you believe it!! We’re almost there…congratulations!! I am honored to say that I have had the opportunity to Fast with the universal body of Christ! Today I have a simple word for you in reference to this FAST that I believe will encourage you to finish strong and to stay strong in your pursuit of the Lord even after the Fast is over.
Galatians 6:9 “ Let us not grow wearing in well doing for in due season you shall reap if you faint not.”
As I was reading this scripture I felt the Lord say substitute the word “DUE” for the word “DO”. When I did that it took on a whole new meaning for me. The words Due Season refer to time, but DO Season refer to action. In order for there to be a Due season, a time of reaping; there has to be a DO season, a time of sowing. Don’t grow weary in well “DO-ING”…for it will be because of your DO-ing season that you will reap the great reward the Lord has for you. Prayers are answered because of Do-ing seasons, miracles happen because of Do-ing seasons, breakthroughs come because of Do-ing seasons…because of what you’re DO-ing….FASTING! Ever heard the saying “Paying your do’s”?? It implies action. You reap what you sow. The Bible says that whatever your hands find to DO, to DO it solely as unto God. I simply want to encourage everyone to continue serving the Lord, stay strong in your Fast until the very end. God rewards those who diligently seek Him. To seek something requires action. It requires DO-ING. Understand this…Man will let you down, forget to say something, will over look you, may not even notice you…but God…He keeps GREAT BOOKS!! He sees all your hard work and dedication. He sees your sacrifice and the denying of yourself for more of Him. Your “Well Done” must always come from the Lord…His approval comes with a greater reward and blessing than anything man can give. Because of your “DO SEASON”, you will have a “DUE SEASON”. Take a look at the same scripture in the Message Version:
Galatians 6:9 “So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.”
These past 20 days you have been sowing some incredible seeds of faith and prayer and, according to the scripture above, it will be at the RIGHT TIME that your GOOD crop will come in, but the key is to remember that God’s time is always the right time. Don’t be discouraged if prayers aren’t answered when you think they should be. You must trust that God has everything under control and that He will release the good crop when it’s time. Don’t allow yourself to get fatigued and tired while waiting for the answer…just keep Do-ing for the Lord and your breakthrough will come.
I hope this simple word will serve as a reminder when the “Tired-Fatigued” times come. Keep holding on to the Lord with both hands. Thank you again for allowing me into your world for a few brief moments. We are praying for you!!
