’13 RBY – READING the BIBLE in a YEAR – Today’s Scripture: 1 Samuel 3 / Mark 3
1 Samuel 3: 4: Suddenly the LORD called out, “Samuel!”1 Samuel 3: 6: Then the LORD called out again, “Samuel!”
1 Samuel 3: 8: So the LORD called a third time … 1 Samuel: 3: 10: And the LORD came and called as before, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel replied. “Speak your servant is listening.”
The LORD continues to call out day, the question is how willing am I to listen?
His tenacity is greater than my yearning. Praise God!
How many times must He call?
How willing am I to listen?
How willing am I to answer, “Speak your SERVANT is listening?
Jesus ends the 3rd chapter of Mark with this statement:
Mark: 3:35 Anyone who does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.
I AM ANYONE!
I AM CALLED! … i can hear you now!
Romans 10:13-15 [NLT] For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”14But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
A HEARING FAITH – SHARES!
