TIMELY FAITH

’13 RBY – READ the BIBLE in a YEAR  Today’s Scripture: 1 Samuel 26

timely faith

1 Samuel 26:10 [NLT] Surely the Lord will strike Saul down someday, or he will die of old age or in battle.

One of the lessons I learned today while reading 1 Samuel 26, is to trust God for “someday”! David could have once again ended Saul life, but he choose to trust God. David had the faith and the patience to trust God.

Every day there are situations in my life that could be played out any number of ways. Reconciliation that I’d like to force, forgiveness that I’d happily accept. Forgiveness that I’d gladly give. Misunderstandings that I’d like to make right. But today, I’m going to rest in “someday”. “Someday” God will works things out God way!  That’s a timely Faith!
