PROCLAIMING FAITH

’13 READ the BIBLE in a YEAR    Today’s Reading 2 Samuel 7 / 1 Chronicles 17 / John 7 / Psalm 96

PROCLAIMING FAITH

It’s February, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner which probably jogged my mind and brought to my memory the acronym KISS – Keep It Simple Stupid. When I was young I use to get in trouble for saying Stupid. But then along comes Forest Gump whose mother told him; “Stupid is, what Stupid does!”  Now how do you argue with that. So maybe sometimes it’s OK to use the word. Today when I was reading Psalm 96  I thought to myself can it be an simpler.

Psalm 96:1,2 [NLT]  Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!       2 Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.

SING! EVERYBODY SING! PRAISE HIM! PROCLAIM HIM! – Pretty Simple.

Enough said!
