PRAYING FAITH

2013 READ the BIBLE through in a YEAR – Ezra 9 / Revelation 8

Praying Faith

I’ve gotten out of my routine. I find myself reading through the Bible in the morning and for some reason not having enough time to write out my reflections. Need to re group, because here I am again, 8:30 pm and talking myself into writing something.

REVIEW:When I read Ezra 9 / Revelation 8 this morning, in Ezra I was all wide eyed when I read: I prayed, “O my God, I am utterly ashamed; I blush to lift up my face to you. For our sins are piled higher than our heads, and our guilt has reached to the heavens.”

Never prayed that prayer, maybe I should?

Revelation 8 left me in wonder, we just don’t get it do we? God is so much bigger than my imagination. And yet how often do I treat Him as lesser than?

Pray more, sin less – that’s how I’m feeling tonight.
