Baseball Faith

Todat when I got to Matthew 10:38,39 [NLT] If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. 39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.

I immediate thought of Lamentations 3:22-23
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Lord, truth is; you and only you know my batting average when it comes to taking up my cross, following you, and and my ability to quit clinging to my life.

Here’s my promise, with the help of the Holy Spirit, and the encouragement of Jesus Christ, I’ll keep swinging. It’s the love of God, that put me in the lineup in the first place, int the grace of God that keeps me in the game.

Truth is without Jesus, I can’t get to the “if”Truth is without Jesus, I can’t get to the “all”

Mark 12:30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’

“IF” my salvation is “ON” me, I’m “OUT!”
