D-DAY Faith

Matthew 16 starts off with the Pharisees and Sadducees being demanding. Then the disciples discovering they forgot bread. Which led to Jesus talking about the deceptive teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Then Peter knocked one out of the park, declaring Jesus the Messiah. Jesus tells the disciples about his death. Peter gets up to bat again and strikes out and Jesus calls him a dangerous trap. Then Jesus describes discipleship: v. 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. Only to finish the chapter off sharing that He and his angels will come one day and judge all people according to their deeds.
