2013 READ through the BIBLE in a YEAR / Today’s Bible Readings: Exodus 19,20 / 1 Corinthians 10 / Psalm 13

saving faith

In yesterday’s reading there was a verse where Paul said, [9.22] When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. And today’s reading of chapter 10 ends with Paul saying: [10.33] I, too, try to please everyone in everything I do. I don’t just do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.

In one chapter Paul is talking about “some” being saved, in the next chapter he is talking about “many” being saved.

Am I living life in such a way that “any” are being saved?
