’13 READ the BIBLE in a YEAR / Today’s Readings / Isaiah 43-45

Worshipping Faith

In chapter 43 of Isaiah we read these word’s: “But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord. “You are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be. 11 I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior.

I read these verses and got excited that today is Sunday, I get to worship Him in community. When I read references to “O Israel” in the Old Testament – my mine thinks, “church” in our culture.  Not a place, but a group of people – people who echo – YES, HE IS THE LORD, AND THERE IS NO OTHER SAVIOR –

Let US worship  HIM! Chosen, believers – He is God!
